Living in the Coaticook region means living in a hilly territory, unique in its kind and characterized by bucolic landscapes. It’s the chance to be part of a dynamic, daring and generous community. It also means having access to a variety of great services for the family, while having proximity to major urban centers.
Our beautiful rural region offers allthe advantages of big cities
My partner, son and I tried out a stay in 2014 and fell under the region’s charm, impressed with its wonderful environment, solidarity, mutual assistance, and family life. We settled in Dixville a year and a half later while expecting our youngest daughter. Although our migration had its challenges, today, we appreciate every moment in the wonderful region we’ve adopted. Our children are thriving in their daycare and small village school! We appreciate the gorgeous landscapes as well as our close community relationships.
I’m a native of Coaticook and my better half is from Granby. We first lived in Montreal for a few years, then in Sherbrooke. After residing in these major urban centres, we ultimately decided to work and live in the Coaticook region, for its restorative open spaces, friendly and dedicated residents, and many business opportunities.
Our family left Montreal’s South Shore behind for the calm and quiet of rural live, and a healthier and less hectic lifestyle. We found the perfect balance in Coaticook: we enjoy all the city services we need, and live surrounded by nature. The town is welcoming and vibrant; we’re just delighted!
Several full-time job opportunities are waiting for you too. Companies offer you interesting working conditions and wages, near residence places. The region is also in full local growth and very promising for your entrepreneurial or real estate projects. Within the Coaticook region, you have the opportunity to find your dream job while benefiting from a dynamic and attractive living environment!
